If the compression and leakdown are good and the headgasket is sitting pretty then you should let it be. Rebuilding isn't impossible but the financial, emotional, and time commitments are *big*. It's not a "while I'm at it" kinda thing. Enjoy driving it for a while and give yourself time to learn the technical do's and don'ts first. If all of this is going in one ear and out the other, read it again until it sinks in.
 

Daily driving a TT is like ordering your favorite pizza for breakfast lunch and dinner. It's not healthy and eventually you will lose the magic of the meal.
